Peiran Han, male, born in March 1995, from Xining, Qinghai Province, is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Transportation Planning and Management at the School of Transportation, Beijing Jiaotong University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Railway Transportation in 2017 and his Master’s degree in Transportation Planning and Management in 2020, both from the School of Transportation, Beijing Jiaotong University.

During his doctoral studies, he mainly participated in the systematic major project of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. — “Research on Methods for Improving the Flexibility of Train Timetabling Oriented to Intelligent Scheduling Decisions” — and the research project “Independent Development of Key CTC System Equipment.”

His main research interests include optimization of railway freight yard capacity resources and analysis and mining of high-speed railway train delays.
